Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is transmitted to the outside company that supplies that feature. The provider processes the query under its own policy. Humphreys County Court Docket does not retain those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is not disclosed outside the organization unless the sender authorizes disclosure or law requires it.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server logs may record technical facts when a page loads, including:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that support traffic measurement and basic site functions. Analytics providers may combine page-use data to show broad patterns, such as popular pages or common exit points. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although doing so may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Humphreys County Court Docket does not keep, compile, host, or sell a database of personal case records. It publishes directions to the Circuit Court Clerk, Clerk & Master, municipal clerks, and Tennessee Public Case History. Visitor information is not assembled into third-party case profiles or consumer reports, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search widgets. Their privacy notices, retention periods, and disclosure rules govern information submitted to them. Review the provider's policy before entering a query because this policy cannot control an outside service.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Humphreys clerk pages, Tennessee court resources, legal-aid organizations, or commercial search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal details.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to measure activity or select ads across sites. That processing occurs under the advertiser's systems and policies.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards protect collected data. No internet system is completely secure, however, so uninterrupted security or absolute protection cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Notice of information submitted by a minor may be sent through the contact route so it can be reviewed and removed as required.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights vary by residence and applicable law. The Tennessee Public Records Act, including T.C.A. ยง 10-7-503, and Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 govern access to public records and court records; they do not make private visitor data part of a Humphreys County case file. Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
